The Lost Scrolls: Fire (Avatar: the Last Airbender) ReviewNot a bad read for these wanting to know more about Fire Nation culture though it could have used more, since this book is clearly written for kids and is a fairly slim volume, I would have liked it to be a little more mature, with more information in it (especially in Fire Nation history) and maybe a couple more cool illustrations or diagrams. Still, a definite collectible for any diehard Avatar fan.The Lost Scrolls: Fire (Avatar: the Last Airbender) OverviewIf you are reading this, you have uncovered one of the four hidden scrolls I have compiled about the world of Avatar. This scroll contains sacred information about the Fire Nation -- stories, legends, and facts that I have found so far about this nation -- its history and culture and tales of its past and present. Katara describes how Aang outwits and defeats the dreaded Admiral Zhao and the Fire Navy, Aang tells how he comes to accept his destiny, and Prince Zuko recalls the time he once captured -- and lost -- the Avatar. The scroll also contains information about leaders of the Fire Nation, Firebending techniques, the spirit world, and much more. Keep this scroll safe, and share it only with those you trust. Beware, for there are many who wish to expose its secrets...

The Lost Scrolls: Air (Avatar: the Last Airbender) ReviewHey, this is a fun little purchase if you're big into Avatar. There's a few juicy details regarding the life and styles of the different nations. There's some fun art and illustrations included, but it's largely fluff, and written descriptions of episodes we've already seen. They are well written, but there is only a little fresh information present. Still, that said, it's alot of fun, and nice to own.The Lost Scrolls: Air (Avatar: the Last Airbender) OverviewIF YOU ARE READING THIS, you have uncovered one of the four hidden scrolls I have compiled about the world of Avatar. This scroll contains all of the knowledge that I have gathered so far about the Air Nomads -- their history and culture and the great tales of their past. Aang revisits his former monastery, Katara learns the truth about Aang's mysterious past, and Sokka reveals how he saved the Northern Air Temple from the Fire Nation. The scroll also contains information about Airbending moves, Air temples and monks, the Avatar Cycle, and much more. Keep this scroll safe, and share it only with those you trust. Beware, for there are many who wish to expose it's secrets....

The Earth Kingdom Chronicles: The Tale of Katara (Avatar, the Last Airbender: the Earth Kingdom Chronicles) ReviewAn interesting series of little books. Each is written like a diary and covers most of the Avatar's adventures, thus far, from each character's point of view. Included in each book is a pair of 3-D glasses and a small color comic (3-D of course.) Children who enjoy the Avatar cartoon series will enjoy these books.
ManyTotemsThe Earth Kingdom Chronicles: The Tale of Katara (Avatar, the Last Airbender: the Earth Kingdom Chronicles) OverviewI'm Katara. I'm traveling through the Earth Kingdom with my brother, Sokka, and Aang, the Avatar. After Aang and I studied Waterbending at the North Pole, we set off to find him an Earthbending teacher. The journey has been kind of rough on all of us. I'm having trouble getting along with Aang's new Earthbending teacher, Toph; Aang's struggling with his Earthbending lessons; and we're being chased not only by Prince Zuko, but his sister, Princess Azula, too! But I know we'll make it through this, as long as we all stick together!

Avatar: The Last Airbender The Lost Adventures (Avatar: The Last Airbender (Dark Horse)) ReviewLike any fan of the original series, I was crest fallen after the finale, having been left to wonder at what would become of our heroes. (Naturally, I was disgusted at Shyamalan's lack luster film that turned the first season into a Twilight-esque abomination!) This comic was a true piece of genius, bringing the apparently cannon comics printed by Nickelodeon Magazine - done in collaboration with the show's own talent - back to print and all together for the first time. These are the untold stories of the Avatar Universe, filled to the brim with the spirit and style of the show. As a fan from the very beginning, I was rapt in reading these stories - adventures with the Gaang I never got to embark on in the show's running. This comic is an overall refreshing and fun experience that every true Avatard should experience. My hat goes off to the artists and I wish them luck with the NEW ATLA GRAPHIC NOVEL SERIES coming next year!Avatar: The Last Airbender The Lost Adventures (Avatar: The Last Airbender (Dark Horse)) OverviewOne of America's hottest shows returns! For three years, millions of eager fans tuned in each week to watch Nickelodeon's hit animated series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. Ever since, fans have been hungry for more - and now their wait is finally over! This volume collects the long-out-of-print, fan-favorite comics previously published in Nickelodeon Magazine and with the Airbender DVDs, plus over 70 brand-new comics pages. That's over 26 stories set in Airbender continuity, by a host of top-notch talent, many of whom worked on the original animated series itself.

The Lost Scrolls: Earth (Avatar: the Last Airbender) ReviewI have seen the movies and I like this book because I learned the legend of Omashu, that wasn't included in the movies. Each of the "Scroll" books have 3 different legends. This book is not a cartoon book, it is more of a chapter book. There are lots of pictures, some not from the movie. If you really want to know more about Avatar I recommend this book. The Lost Scrolls: Earth (Avatar: the Last Airbender) OverviewIF YOU ARE READING THIS, you have uncovered one of the four hidden scrolls I have compiled about the world of Avatar. This scroll contains sacred information about the Earth Nation -- stories, legends, and facts that I have found so far about this nation -- its history, culture, and tales of its past and present. Katara tells how she inspired a group of Earthbenders imprisoned on a Fire Nation ship to take a stand; Aang explains how he managed to outsmart the great Earthbender, King Bumi; and Sokka recounts the tale of the Great Divide. Included are sections on Earthbending moves, the great Earth Kingdom Kyoshi Warriors, and more. Keep this scroll safe, and share it only with those you trust. Beware, for there are many who wish to expose its secrets....
