The New Master (Avatar) (Deluxe Coloring Book) ReviewI'm 14, and love the avatar show and to color since im 7 at heart haha! The coloring book is pretty thick, so there are plenty of pages to color. The coloring pages are from the first season of the series. It also has cute little activities to do. Avatar: The Last Airbender, Vol. 6 ReviewThis book is just images from the show, written up as basically a comic book just like you would expect. That being said, the books are good quality, sturdy paper, and nicely colored ink. The text is a little hard to read but cool. My 6 year old is able to read them with minimal help. All in all, if you are a fan of the show, you will probably enjoy the graphic novels.Avatar: The Last Airbender, Vol. 6 OverviewThe group meets a young earthbender who is forced to hide his abilities for fear of being arrested by the Fire Nation. However, after Katara encourages him to use his earthbending powers to save an old man, the entire gang faces the wrath of the Fire Nation.

Sozin's Comet: The Final Battle (Avatar) ReviewI think that the book could have been written better. In fact, the prose is so dull that it makes me think that I can write my own version of this fantastic story and do much better.
I've been a fan of Avatar for a very long time. I bought this book purely for spoilers, and though it did the job well, I found myself bored at the poor writing. I gave this book a three because it fulfilled its informational purposes (and gave me a free poster). But honestly, after July when the real episodes come on, I see this book going out of print.Sozin's Comet: The Final Battle (Avatar) OverviewIn this adaptation of the four-part Season Three finale, Avatar fans will finally discover if Aang really can save the world from the evil Fire Lord! Told through first person narratives, readers will get the inside scoop from their favorite characters, and hear what's going on in their heads as they help Aang battle the ultimate enemy. Organzied into short chapters, this book is especially suited for middle-grade readers, but itcan be enjoyed byAvatar fans ofany age. Also included is a totally exclusive Q & A with Avatar creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, as well as some of their early sketches of the Avatar world and characters. This full-color interior will feature illustrations based on the episodes, and an original, pull-out poster!

The Last Airbender: Prequel: Zuko's Story (Avatar: The Last Airbender) ReviewFor those that couldn't tell, this book is really short and is a nice little manga about Zuko's banaishment. I'm guessing this is supposed to be for people who haven't exactly watched the series and want to know why Zuko is hunting for the avatar. But, if you have watched the series then this gives you a lot of new insight as well. A few things have changed though, one being the artists rendition of Iroh who looks more like his actor than are big old fluffy friend from TV. For the characters who have yet to be casted like Mai, Ty Lee, and Azula, they look like their normal TV selves. Anyways, this manga comic maps out the first days of Zuko's banishment where he goes around searching for the avatar in the air temples while also dealing with his emotions (which are really fired up....haha...) Different from the original series, this shows you how Zuko becomes the Blue Spirit. It's different from the tv show because it gives the hint that he's been the blue spirit for a long time. (Remeber Zuko is banished a full 2 years before he finds the avatar) All in all, it was a good read especially for a hard core Avatar fan like me. I expect the movie to be really good and I can't wait. 3D whoo! The Last Airbender: Prequel: Zuko's Story (Avatar: The Last Airbender) OverviewTHE SON WILL RISE Prince Zuko is banished from the Fire Nation by his own father, Fire Lord Ozai. Horribly scarred and stripped of everything he holds dear, Zuko wanders the earth for almost three years in search of his only chance at redemption: the Avatar, a mystical being who once kept the four nations in balance. All around him, people whisper that this is an impossible task—the Avatar, after all, disappeared a century ago—but Zuko defiantly continues the search. His quest is all he has left.

The Tale of Zuko (Avatar, the Last Airbender: The Earth Kingdom Chronicles) ReviewI bought all six books of The Earth Kingdom Chronicles for my family after watching the entire series on TV. Five stars for all books! While being an enjoyable book for children, I have - as an adult keenly interested in martial arts and Asian philosophy - found these books to be right on the mark with many concepts that are sometimes difficult to understand and I found it a sheer blessing to have finally some creators and writers who can take those concepts and relay them to others in a clear, simple and concise manner. Sadly this seems to be lacking in many mature readers' novels. And speaking of mature... Will there ever be a book #7 for Zuko's uncle Iroh? The Tale of Zuko (Avatar, the Last Airbender: The Earth Kingdom Chronicles) OverviewI am Prince Zuko. After being betrayed by my wicked sister, Azula, Uncle Iroh and I have sought new lives in the Earth Kingdom. It is humbling to wander as a refugee, but it has also opened my eyes to the pain the Fire Nation has inflicted on the world -- as well as on me. On one hand I am proud to be a prince of the Fire Nation, but on the other hand I feel very ashamed. What is my destiny? Is it to turn my back on the Fire Nation and start anew, or is it to restore my honor and earn back my rightful place as the future Fire Lord? I have yet to find out.
